How Does the Wet Inlay Work?
The UHF wet inlay consists of three main components: a PET face layer, a copper or aluminum antenna, and the Monza® R6-P chip. Once affixed to an item, the inlay is energized by a reader’s RF signal. The chip then transmits its unique EPC code back to the reader. Thanks to the R6-P’s enhanced encoding and memory architecture, the label can operate efficiently even in high-interference environments or on challenging surfaces like plastic or cardboard.
